Granted.  But the fact remains that it is a config file for bmake and
not for pkgsrc.  If you wanted to use bmake outside the context of
pkgsrc on those platforms, it would be read and affect those builds.

I pointed this out more for its value as a curiosity and amusement than
anything else.
