Replace your SCSI CD-ROM drive with the IDE one and adjust your system
BIOS so that the IDE CD-ROM is prior in the boot order to the SCSI hard
disks.

That, or adjust your SCSI adapter BIOS settings correctly so it attempts
to boot from CD.

Note that a $50 IDE CD-ROM drive you can buy at any store today will be
far, far faster than any SCSI CD-ROM drive of which I am aware, because
they stopped making native SCSI CD-ROMs long ago.
