I bet people use all kinds of software for their work. As Robert Elz already
noted, there is no doubt that people still use *roff. But the question is
whether NetBSD and its documentation needs full *roff. There is always pkgsrc.

Yes I have and some of them clearly have little relevance besides being
useful historical references and interesting reading. We have some problems
in documenting NetBSD as of 2010, and documents from 1986 should be the
least of our worries. Note also that I am not suggesting that these legacy
documents should be removed.

But I have now voiced my opinion and have no intent to continue this any
further. When the time comes for a decision, I hope the word from those who
are involved in documentation matters.
