Re: libvorbis - replace
Hi,

It's seeming more likely that there is a problem than that you have a

how to reproduce the problem and exactly what the problem is.
I updated kernel and userland to current as of June 11, then updated
pkgsrc with pkg_rr and completed today (well, rebuling both seamonkey
and thunderbird took a loooong time).
The problem persists.
WindowMaker crashes when opening certain applications (xterm, Firefox,
Emacs are confirmed) but all GNUstep applications do open as does WM's
own preferences utility. Thus it is not that every window opens, but
perhaps only certain kind of windows.
As we wrote privately, I found no way of making windowmaker not for.
I thus tried to telnet in remotely into the machine, attached to the
running process and got the same stracktrace I get in the core file:
0x08097e44 in ?? ()
(gdb) bt
#0 0x08097e44 in ?? ()
#1 0x0806eac0 in ?? ()
#2 0xbbbad544 in WMHandleEvent () from /usr/pkg/lib/libWINGs.so.2
#3 0x0806ffa5 in ?? ()
#4 0x080a4bac in ?? ()
#5 0x0804fedd in ?? ()
#6 0x0804fdb8 in ?? ()
Not very useful. Is there a way to rebuild the windowmaker package with
debug symbols? I guess it is stripped or too optimized.
Riccardo
