Are you sure xf86-video-nv supports the graphics card? It doesn't support
new models.

I just finished a clean build (w/o "-u") and updated everything. The
result is the same. The messages output by "X -configure" are at:

It generated the following "xorg.conf.new" file:

And the log file from attempting to use the generated "xorg.conf.new"
