I find that that (usually) DTRT.No, I just have simple WEP to keep the neighbors from sucking up my bandwidth! So I just have the ssid and nwkey in my /etc/ifconfig.xxxwpa_supplicant can handle plain WEP; you may want to give it a try.
(What email MUA are you using that not only won't wrap your text, but automatically unwraps it after I went to all the trouble of fixing it on the first reply?)
Sheeesh, another bloody daemon to go figure out, and another set of config files to make sure I don't loose. Why is it so involved to get this to work?
And I just noticed that it seems to be ignoring my "deny interfaces rtk0" in my /etc/dhcpcd.conf file! I even have static info configured for rtk0, and it just adds the leased address as an alias! I really want it to completely hands-off WRT rtk0! (The static info is needed because otherwise it seems to clobber my static resolve.conf file, and I'm really not up to learning yet ANOTHER bloody utility - at least not today!)
