Do not know about the Virtulator, but I use IPv6 on NetBSD on Hetzner VPS
and it works well. I have used static ip and default router settings in
rc.conf.

Aside: I also tried to get rid of IPv4 altogether, but soon ran into sites
that run exclusively on IPv4 and had to keep both options open.

IPv6 on home devices with CGNAT ISP helps me get public ips. This is the
basic use case that bought me into IPv6.
