It might be, but I have not seen reports of anyone doing this.   I am
not sure if qemu has support for particular phone models or the generic
phone that seems to be part of the android system emulator that's part
of the (partly proprietary) Android Studio.

I would recommend trying Android Studio under Debian and then after you
understand better you could start to investigate running under NetBSD.
