I just upgraded to 7.1 (which appears to run fine, at least, no worse 
than 7.0.2) and then did run a pkgsrc cvs udpate and a "pkg_rolling-replace"

xemacs build failed... with the known error. So while a new package 
version was reported for a replace, it did not contain the fixes you did!

(.text+0xea4): undefined reference to `vars_of_hpplay'
*** Error code 1

I am checking al versions with lintpkgsrc, but it is taking longer than 
overnight ....
