I have rebuilt an up to date -8 to be sure that netbsd.gdb and running
kernel are built from the same sources.

/etc/rc.d/xdm onestart and my PWS500au panics.

I have tried to set ddb.onpanic=1. Systems also panics but I don't see
any usable information. Console seems to be locked or ddb is not
running. I haven't tested with a serial adapter. But after reboot, no
new files in /var/crash are written.

And I can confirm that shutdown -r now stops my PWS but it doesn't
reboot ;-)

I have forgotten. This PWS is up and I can open a remote access if required (ssh).
