My interest in 6.0_ALPHA depends on how I fare compiling and installing HEAD
and 5.1_STABLE from source.
If the same bugs remain, I may just give up.
Group of two USB ports on old computer seems to have died, neither mouse nor
USB sticks are accessible.
This leaves two surviving USB ports.
With only 256 MB RAM and limited hard-disk space, I don't really want to build
too much from pkgsrc; wip/hplip takes a long time.
I could install to USB stick and build packages from new amd64 Intel Sandy
Bridge computer, but have to put up with the risks involved with dk wedges;
don't want to mess up my FreeBSD and future Linux unstallations.
