Do you have ulpt enabled in the kernel config?

There was a message that ulpt should not be enabled in the kernel or as a
module with hplip.
This was for both NetBSD pkgsrc and FreeBSD ports.

I've been unable to get my printer, HP n1212mf, working in NetBSD or FreeBSD
with hplip.
So far, I tried only with USB, will want to also try the Ethernet.

I couldn't get the printer to work with Linux, Slackware 13.0, working, but
that may have been because that version of hplip was too old.

In all cases, the predominant problem was no devices found.
