Je vous remercie, je réponds un peu tard, j'étais en vacances.

Je lis certains fichiers expliquant Xen ou Citrix: tout d'abord je 
comprends maintenant que virtualiser est possible mais il y a des 
limites. D'un côté, je vais vous dire mon but, et de l'autre je vais 
finir la lecture des articles que j'ai téléchargé sur Xen et la 
virtualisation.

L'objectif:

1 °: J'ai besoin d'apprendre différents systèmes pour mon futur emploi, 
comme FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, RHEL ou Solaris, et j'ai besoin d'en 
savoir beaucoup sur les actions réseau entre ces systèmes, comme Apache, 
Sendmail, Fetchmail, Wake On Lan , DNS, DHCP, OpenLDAP, etc ..

2 °: je ne peux plus continuer à essayer différents systèmes sur le même 
matériel en raison de nombreuses limitations (VMWare sous Windows ou 
Ubuntu, Qemu, Virtual Box, etc). Donc, la meilleure façon de progresser 
est de construire des systèmes virtuels sur un serveur en rack. Je vais 
construire un réseau privé virtuel avec [je tiens à virtualiser: OpenBSD 
(comme pare-feu), Aix (comme proxy), NetBSD (comme passerelle), FreeBSD 
(comme serveur de fichiers de sauvegardes), Debian (comme serveur de 
fichiers)] qui dans un but final, va migrer vers un réseau privé réel 
sur les carte mère 'Soekris'.

3 °: J'ai besoin d'apprendre la clusterization et je voudrais essayer un 
cluster RHEL, Debian et Solaris, avec une version étudiant d'Oracle. La 
SGBD Oracle migrera vers PostgreSQL et MySQL. Et là aussi, si toute 
chose fonctionne bien, tout va migrer sur un cluster Debian avec 
PostgreSQL ou MySQL sous cartes mères réelles 'Soekris '.

4 °: A la fin, le serveur physique sera donné à une association 
française de promotion du libre et de formation à l'administration 
systeme des systeme BSD et Debian, et parce qu'ils ne sont pas riche (ni 
moi), nous ne pouvons pas payer beaucoup d'électricité, alors je suis à 
la recherche de la puissance maximale (en processeur et Ram) à moins de 
500W de consommation ...

Tel est l'objectif pour les 2 prochaines années ; en souhaitant que ces 
informations vous soient utiles, merci d'avance pour vos renseignements.

I'm reading some files explaining Xen under systems or under Citrix : 
first of all I anderstand now that virtualize is possible but there are 
some limits . On one hand I will tell you my goal, and on the other I 
will finish reading the articles I've downloaded on xen and virtualization.

The Goal :

1° : I need to learn different systems for my future job, like FreeBSD, 
OpenBSD, NetBSD, RHEL or Solaris, and I need to learn lots of web and 
network actions between those systems, like Apache, Sendmail, Fetchmail, 
Wake On Lan, DNS, DHCP, OpenLDAP, etc...

2° : I can no more try different systems on the same hardware because of 
lots of limitations (VMWare under Windows or Ubuntu, Qemu, Virtual Box, 
etc...). So the best way to progress is to build virtual systems on a 
rack server. I will build a virtual private web with [I would like to 
virtualize : OpenBSD (as firewall), Aix (as proxy), NetBSD (as gateway), 
FreeBSD (as back up file server), Debian (as file server)] wich will in 
a final goal, migrate to a real private network on 'Soekris' mother boards.

3° : I need to learn some clusterization and I'd like to try a RHEL 
cluster, Debian cluster and Solaris Cluster, with an Oracle student 
version. The Oracle will migrate to a PostGresql and MySQL. At the end 
and if anything works good, all will migrate on a Debian Cluster with 
PostgreSQL or MySQL under real and physical 'Soekris' mother boards.

4° : At the end, the physical server will be given to a french assembly, 
and because they are not riche (neither me) we can not pay a lot of 
electricity, so I'm looking for the maximum power (processeur and SDRam) 
under 500W of  consummation...

This is the goal for the next 2 years, hopping this informations are
