Why don't you use the built-in feature `breathing light'? If something
happened while you were taking a shower, the light will blink, if not it
will `breathe'.

BTW: If your phone-display is off (sleep mode) and you would like to
check the date, time, call or message count -> just press and stay on
the big middle button and you'll see all you need to see. :)
