Unix way would be to use separate, small application
to get mail to the /var/mail/name file. The very prob-
lem with fetchmail is that is needs port 25 open to work.
If you change to getmail, all that is not necessary.
I think you have postfix installed as default mta now.
You just have to tweak a little to get it working. The
most needed lines are those that regulate aliases.
Also, use postqueue -f to purge mail to destination.
Mutt is the perfect way to handle your own mail, but think
about other users, who need centralized solution.
