I am seeing this on my eeepc900 with 4.99.72 (20080809:ish + atheee.patch), too. I got the advice to set hw.ath0.txintrperiod to 1 in sysctl.conf, which does get rid of the device timeout messages. However, it doesn't affect the fact that the interface consistently experiences
had the chance to see if behaviour is the same on other 802.11g networks, or just when talking to my old DLink 900AP+ 802.11b AP...= 34% packet loss where my other laptop has 0% packet loss. Haven't yet
