Incidentally, 4.0 on a Dell PowerEdge 2650 (pretty common
"enterprise" dell server on the low end) gives me no love on envstat:
# envstat -l
envstat: No sensors found
It can work, at least fairly well (no idea why the PS flags are
wrong), though I think I have a couple of very minor hacks in my
kernel to get it to work -- let me know if you want me to dig out the
details:
$ grep ipmi /var/log/dmesg.boot
ipmi0 at mainbus0: version 1.0 interface SMIC iobase 0xecf4/3 spacing 1
$ /usr/sbin/envstat -r
