I am on 20.6.0 (Big Sur 11.5). I build with Clang, and only use GCC 10 for Fortran.
Build and install.

I hacked GCC not to compare the stages.

Is your hack something that could be committed, or do you have an idea for a more palatable fix?

gcc7, 8, and 10 have all failed for me on Darwin and it would be good to fix this before the branch.
