It appears 9.0 is stable on the qfe card and survived multiple rounds of
my "tar tzvpf ..." test without incurring any device timeouts, including
re-unpacking the sets over the top of itself.
Now, trying to update along netbsd-9 in the "9.0_STABLE" era is being
problematic. I cannot even build 'nbmake' on my 10.1_STABLE/amd64 build
host. It complains about:

It previously built along 9.2_STABLE w/o problems. Am I going to have
to set up a 9.x build host to build 9.0_STABLE/sparc?
