I updated my test tree to netbsd-9-3-RELEASE and built a release.
Running with a 9.3 GENERIC and modules and the 9.2 userland, I repeated
my 'tar tzvpf ...' test and it eventually hung. No messages on the
console, but after forcing a reboot, "/var/log/messages" had rolled over
from the timeouts and retries from 'dhcpcd'.
Now updating along netbsd-9 to bisect the period between 9.2 and 9.3.
