Or so I thought.  I built a 9.2_STABLE from sources of 1-Jan-2022 as being
about halfway between 9.2 and 9.3.

But the disk I'd been using for these test installs started being flaky
and spinning down and not spinning back up again--and even when it did,
the system didn't recognize that it had.

So I cleaned off the internal disk on which I'd originally updated to
netbsd-11 and installed the baseline 9.2 on it.  I was doing a re-install
over it via hme0 and sets on NFS when it started getting the device timeouts
as well.

I guess I'll be backing up to 9.1 (and if necessary 9.0 or even back to
8.3) to see where it starts behaving again.
