I would recommend Void base image, https://repo-default.voidlinux.org/live/current/

II comes with sshd enabled and no desktop or, window manager. It doesn't include xorg either and you will need to install the compiler after the initial install.

It's a stable rolling release. My installation is from October 2017 and never broke. I've even moved the hard drive from one laptop to another a few years ago when hardware was starting to fail.

No systemd and was created by a former NetBSD dev.
