Re: Naming restrictions for Solaris packages

Another thing is that Solaris package names usually start with a few
capital letters identifying the source of the package, e.g. SUNWfoo for
packages from Sun, or SFWbar for packages from sunfreeware.com. I don't
know what pkgsrc or gensolpkg should do here.
gensolpkg has a prefix built in to it at compile time. The default is TNF. Hmm,
this means that all of our estimates of how many packages have names that are
too long are wrong because we won't know how long the package builder's prefix is.
