I am not using any xorg.conf file. Ithink I will have to

You don't need the whole thing; just a fragment like this will do:
```
$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/modesetting.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "modesetting"
Option "SWcursor" "on"
EndSection
$
Hello RVP,
Thanks for the tip.
I found that I was indeed using a xorg.conf file product of old experiments:
If I use no xorg.conf file at all, it picks intel driver and there are
no problems in window edges and corners.
If I use your config file it works fine!, no problems on the corners and
edges and modesetting driver is used:
netbsd-nuc# cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "modesetting"
Option "SWcursor" "on"
EndSection
Thanks so much.
Ramiro.
