Anything to look out for?

There is no DHCP (probably DHCPv6, but unsure) server on the other end of vioif0 or there is an issue with it replying like say a firewall.

2 minutes is quite a short upper limit for solicits - the RFC standard for both DHCP and DHCPv6 is one hour.

I would advise using dhcpcd instead, but I doubt you'll see any different - maybe less noise in the logs by default.
