The information from Johnny Billquist and other was very useful to
understand what to expect or (at least) what to look for.

A massive thank you, to you and anyone who gave some advice and shared the
configuration files.

I think that in the end, if it's the only solution, I will try CUPS, as
you suggested since the beginning.
