   xhci is commented-out in the GENERIC kernel, even on -current:

# xhci* at pci? dev ? function ?        # eXtensible Host Controller
                                        # xhci is at best experimental
# usb*  at xhci?

If you want to try it, uncomment these or try an ALL kernel.
