Maybe this sheds some light on the issue:
 365. [ 32.406] (EE) AIGLX error: i915 does not export required DRI extension
 366. [ 32.414] (EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering
 367. [ 32.595] (II) AIGLX: Loaded and initialized
/usr/X11R7/lib/modules/dri/swrast_dri.so
 368. [ 32.612] (II) GLX: Initialized DRISWRAST GL provider for screen 0

JFTR, I am running Linux so don't know how relevant this is, but I am
running the Linux i915 driver, and I see this in the log:

[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: enabled GLX_MESA_copy_sub_buffer
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: enabled GLX_INTEL_swap_event
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: enabled GLX_ARB_create_context
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: enabled GLX_ARB_create_context_profile
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: enabled GLX_EXT_create_context_es2_profile
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: enabled GLX_SGI_swap_control and GLX_MESA_swap_control
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap backed by buffer objects
[1312689.102] (II) AIGLX: Loaded and initialized i915
[1312689.102] (II) GLX: Initialized DRI2 GL provider for screen 0
