about NetBSD installer(sysinst) doesn't recognize correct partition on target disk.



Dear All.

Thank you for better leading.
For your advice, I have successed in UPGRAD-ing NetBSD operating-system to current version(6.0.1).

The key-point was that carving up disk WITHOUT executing newfs, and installing binaries on the disk.

 | What fdisk partition type do you use on the disk you are trying to
 | upgarde for the NetBSD partition?

Another thing to check is what is in the fstab file, since this is an
upgrade, the assumption is that fstab on the system being upgraded
correctly identifies the system.
