Something(tm) is wrong with the mouse pointer acceleration code ( I suspect an 
overflow somewhere since I didn't see it on LP64 hardware yet, it only bites me 
on macppc occasionally ) - xset m 0 0 cures it, I didn't have time yet to look 
any further.
