Hmm, i mainly use EXIM (exim 4) for most small to large and enterprise scale 
MTA, MDA and even LDA setups (if not cyrus). There are many typical "default" 
configs and HOWTOs out which usually fit"s to NetBSD too.

If you just need a very simple MTA for sending mails to the outside / over a 
satellite host the extremely simple "ssmtp" might be enough for you too.
