Re: Xorg compilation issues - source update question
Hi,
Yes, and sorry it took a while.

nbmake: stopped in /usr/src/external/mit/xorg/include/dri2proto

/usr/src/../tools/bin/nbmake _THISDIR_="${this} "$@" ${target}; };
_makedirtarget dri2proto includes

Out of interest, I updated my source tree to 5.0.1 using :
cvs -q update -Pd -A -r netbsd-5-0
and the build finished correctly. CVS Updating back to 5.0_STABLE with
cvs -q update -Pd -A -r netbsd-5
produced exactly this error again.
Is something wrong with xorg in 5.0_STABLE ?
Please shed any light possible :)
Best regards,
Phil

Hi,
I'm using NetBSD 5-something and currently building from source fails on
dri2proto in external/mit/xorg/include with "nmbmake : Don't know how to
make dri2proto.h". I googled around and this led me to believe that it's
stale dependencies, so I cleared out /usr/obj and /usr/tools and tried
again, with the same results. I suspected that maybe my source trees was
somehow corrupt so I removed the contents of external/mit/xorg, updated
the sources again and tried to build, with the same results.
Any chance of the last few lines of build output before the error
(verbatim)?
Cheers,
Patrick
