Looking for users of the strip(4) line discipline

Are you using the strip(4) line discipline?

Metricom Ricochet radios have been used till early 1990s and are not  
in use anymore.  Metricom went bancrupt some time ago, For net over  
radio we have much better alternatives now.  But still I would like to  
know if there are some strip(4) users still around.

If you use the strip(4) line discipline, please reply or mail me in  
private.  And, if you want, for the folklore, you could also describe  
your setup.
