AFAIK you can only update/replace/reinstall a > package itself, not conflicting packages. In /usr/pkgsrc/multimedia/libflashsupport-pulse, I just did: make replace OLDNAME=libflashsupport package clean This resulted in libflashsupport-pulse being installed, wtih ns-flash depending on it.
