sound in NetBSD?

Dear All,

Besides the beeping of vi, I'd love to have sound in NetBSD. This has been an
issue already for several years, and on some other machines of older type I
have it, but not on my main machine. Is there anything that could be done in
this matter? In FreeBSD 7, by the way, it works.

In my dmesg (full dmesg see below) I see these two lines:

auich0 at pci0 dev 2 function 7: SiS 7012 AC-97 Audio
auich0: can't map interrupt

Is there anything I can do about this, or do I have to... learn to live without
it?

Thank you in advance for your kind help.

I am, by the way, using NetBSD ___5___, not 4, eventhough it is written in my
e-mail address.

- Nino
