Sorry, "kill -HUP 1" should do it (signal init to reload /etc/ttys).

ttyE* are the ffb consoles, ttya and ttyb are the zstty(4) ports used on SBUS
machines, ttyh0 and ttyh1 are sabtty(4) ports.
