RE: Using NetBSD and X inside a VMWare VM
Yes,
I just decided to install the 32-bit mp version of NetBSD v4.0. This has
turned out to be a good solution for my purposes, although the driver does
not seem to work very well at 800 x 600 (svga). It works flawlessly at 640
x 480 (vga).
What resolution are you using?

I am using VMware Workstation 6.5.0 build-118166 on a 64-bit Vista. I have
not been able to get 64-bit NetBSD working and others have the same issue:

I am however happily running 32-bit NetBSD in my VMs.
