Thanks for the replies everyone. What I ended up doing is creating twopartitions, one just under 1TB and the other 400GB. Unfortunately, theinstaller would only let me create slices inside of a single partition,so I'll have to figure out how to manually create a slice in the 400GBpartition and create a filesystem, which shouldn't be too hard.
