Verifying that the Freerunner's "usb0" interface was still up and
operating, plugging it into a host running i386-current (from sources
updated around 201108162000Z) creates a "cdce0" interface which fails
and a "cdce1" which attaches and configures, as previously described.

Attempting to communicate with the Freerunner from the host fails, and
vice versa.
