problems with cdce and/or usb?
It had been a while and a number of source updates since I last plugged
my OpenMoko Neo Freerunner into a USB port for anything other than
charging.
The cdce? interface used to work fine, but I tried again today and got
the following logged in /var/log/messages:
[...]
Aug 16 13:35:19 shadow /netbsd: ehci0: handing over full speed device on port 1
to uhci0

The output of 'ifconfig -a' shows only "cdce1" (which is why I had
'ifwatchd' monitoring cdce1). When unplugging the cable, I get:
[...]

The machine in question is:
NetBSD shadow.bozonet.ntc 5.99.55 NetBSD 5.99.55 (SHADOW) #1: Tue Aug 16
12:51:11 CDT 2011
sysop%shadow.bozonet.ntc@localhost:/d0/nbsd/current/obj/i386/sys/arch/i386/compile/SHADOW
i386
built from sources updated just minutes before the timestamp in
the output of 'uname -a'.
In the past, it would attach at cdce0, my ifwatchd script would
configure it, and I could use it just fine. I'm not sure when
things broke. I first noticed the problem with sources from 3
August on the same machine.
I need to double-check operation on netbsd-5.
Thanks.
