x86 GENERIC kernels unlobotomized

I've reverted the modularization of the x86 GENERIC kernels.
i386 MONOLITHIC is currently unbuildable due to duplicate options and
will soon be removed.

If anyone objects, I encourage you to create/commit a MODULAR config,
you can even add it to the release if you're so inclined.
