You are welcome. I spent a lot of time doing the update -- testing
with a class full of new Unix users showed that the document was a
reasonably effective tutorial on the shell after the changes. Even I
learned quite a bit that I hadn't known about edge conditions in the
course of doing the writing.

I did the work hoping that new users from all flavors of Unix would
benefit from reading it -- I know of no other similar tutorial that
is available as an open licensed document.
