cpio is broken:
$ touch x
$ echo x | cpio -o -F y.cpio
usage: cpio -o [-aABcLvzZ] [-C bytes] [-F archive] [-H format] [-O archive]
[...]
$ echo x | cpio -o >y.cpio
$ cpio -i -t <y.cpio
usage: cpio -o [-aABcLvzZ] [-C bytes] [-F archive] [-H format] [-O archive]
[...]
$ cpio -i -t -F y.cpio
usage: cpio -o [-aABcLvzZ] [-C bytes] [-F archive] [-H format] [-O archive]
[...]

So the -F option doesn't work, and "-i -t" to print the contents
doesn't either.
