I am stuck, stuck, STUCK....

I am unable to get gdb to run in single user mode.

I have all of the shared libraries set up in /usr/lib
set up using the pax recipe Robert gave me...
I have the executable for gdb, the same (^%*&*& one that
runs in the multi-user environment, in /usr/bin.
I have the termcap in the correct /usr/share tree...
+x mode is set on gdb

But when I try to execute it is just says "command not found"?

What am I missing?
