All I did was build a regular kernel (custom but nothing weird) and
installed it into root like I always do.  I guess I could go ahead and
install userland and hope for the best.  I can always revert by
upgrading back to 5.0 RC3 or even 5.0 release at this point.

In the past I have always installed the new kernel and run it for a few
days to make sure that there were no issues.  I guess that doesn't work
any more.
