acpi does not work in my hp6515b laptop

Hi, 
I installed the i386 5.0 release,  I can not boot the system with acpi enable, 
the system is hang up at "uhub5 at usb5: vendor 0x1002 EHCI root hub, class 9/0, rev 2.00/1.00, addr 1".
