        ew.. probably just a build time dependency though.  (I hope).
How many of those packages go away if you pkg_delete them all and 
just pkg_add the meta-pkgs?  (I thought I could get that with some
kind of bmake invocation in pkgsrc, but I don't remember how to get
it to recurse)
