I think it's just that noone got around to updating it.

If the changes are bigger, put it in wip; if it's basically a version
bump in the Makefile and perhaps some PLIST changes, then a patch with
send-pr(1) is perhaps easier.

Please include a short summary of changes since the last packaged
release, for the commit message.
