I understand that, but I want to use pkgsrc in WSL to build Windows
libraries and binaries that can be used outside of WSL. That's why I'm
thinking and asking about adding support to pkgsrc for a new compiler
such as Microsoft's Visual Studio. Basically, I've got software that
can be built for Linux, macOS, and Windows, and ideally I'd like to use
pkgsrc to build that software on and for each of those platforms.
