I haven't tried the patch yet, but I had launched full bulk builds using CentOS 7 + gcc5 and CentOS 6 + gcc6 shortly before you responded with this. I'll try the patch for CentOS 7 + gcc6 ASAP.

In summary, CentOS 7 + gcc5 did almost as well as gcc48. The CentOS 6 + gcc6 build had quite a few additional failures. The RHEL6/All and RHEL7/All paths below represent the gcc48 builds.
